Marcia DePalmo Swartz, RN, MFS

Marcia Swartz is a contracted Legal Nurse Consultant for the firm. She reviews cases for merit, creates chronologies of medical events and does medical literature research for the pharmaceutical litigation team. She has been a legal nurse consultant for eight years. Prior to that, she was a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for thirteen years and worked in hospitals in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Washington DC.

In 2007, Marcia became a Forensic Nurse Examiner and is on call 1 day/week to perform forensic examinations on alleged victims of domestic violence. She is also an expert witness on domestic violence related injuries and has testified in the Fairfax County Court System.

Marcia received her Bachelor of Science degree at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Forensic Sciences at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Marcia is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and International Association of Forensic Nurses.
